Xplor Fuego Admission *Official Product*
At Xplor Fuego, the Riviera Maya turns into a night playground. You can zip through the treetops, splash into a cenote, drive an amphibious vehicle through jungle trails and caves, then swim and paddle beneath stalactites. The best part is the freedom to set your own pace instead of being tied to a guide or group.
I like the excellent buffet, which gives you a real break between wet activities, and the park’s strong safety setup, with staff checking in along the routes. I also like the unusual night setting: darkness makes the zip lines less intimidating, while the colored lights give the underground sections a theatrical feel.
The main drawback is time. Six hours sounds generous, but the park is spread out, and completing the zip lines, vehicles, raft, swim, and dinner can fill the entire evening. Small shared lockers and expensive on-site water shoes are two more details to plan for.
